Can I bring my own gun/gear?
Absolutely. Just ensure compliance with DNR rules. Chris will assist with field support and dressing.

What's the nearest airport?
Warroad Intl. (10 mi), Baudette Intl. (BDE) (30im). We want your trip to be as smooth and stress-free as possible — that’s why airport transportation is included with every package.
We’ll pick you up from one of these nearby regional airports and bring you straight to hunting camp, so you can skip the rental car hassle and start settling into the Northwoods right away.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Hunting continues in most weather conditions, and some of the best deer movement happens in light snow or cold fronts. In the event of severe weather, we’ll adjust stand locations, schedules, or hunt timing to keep you safe and comfortable.

Can non-hunters or family members come along?
Absolutely. We welcome guests who simply want to enjoy the Northwoods. They can stay in the cabin, explore local attractions, fish, or relax by the fire while you hunt.

How physically demanding is the hunt?
We tailor each hunt to your comfort and ability. Some stands are a short walk from the lodge, while others require hiking through uneven terrain. Let us know your preferences when booking.

What’s the weather like during deer season?
Northern Minnesota can be unpredictable. Early season hunts may be mild, while November and December often bring cold mornings and snow. We’ll provide a gear checklist to help you prepare.

Do you handle deer processing?
We can assist with field dressing on-site and connect you with trusted local processors for butchering, packaging, and freezing your venison. Processing fees are handled directly with the processor.
