Our three bedroom, two bath hunting retreat we call Whispering Pines is warm, well-stocked, and designed for relaxation. You’ll have a cozy bed, a place to dry gear, and plenty of space to relax in good company after a long day in the woods. Wake up to the quiet of the Northwoods, just steps away from your hunting grounds. Sleeps ten people.

Home cooked meals
Katie and Chris stock the kitchen with ready-to-go breakfast and lunch and deliver hot and satisfying home cooked dinners each evening. We want to fuel you for early mornings and long sits in the stand. Meals are made with a touch of Minnesota comfort — hearty and fast breakfast, fresh deli meat and cheese, and stick-to-your-ribs hot dinners.

Semi-Guided Hunts
Hunts are tailored to your skill and comfort level. Chris will walk you through the property, share current deer activity, and help choose stand locations based on wind, sign, and movement patterns. Whether you prefer to hunt from a fixed blind or explore on foot, we’ll make sure you’re set up for success.
Access to Trails, Blinds, and Local Knowledge
You’ll have access to established trails and multiple stand/blind locations chosen for high-traffic deer areas. Plus, you’ll benefit from years of local experience — understanding how the deer move through these woods, when they’re most active, and where to focus your time.
Field Dressing + Meat Processing
Harvesting a deer is just the beginning. Chris can assist with field dressing or guide you through the process if you’d like to learn. We also offer optional connections to local processors so your venison is handled promptly and professionally. Local custom processing starts at around $7/lb.
